Rabbits Rising
A disaster called "The Sickness" destroyed nearly everything. Now, 250 years later, a small band of Rabbits leave the safety of their home to explore the world they've been cut off from. And they find that almost everything they thought they knew is wrong.
The Rabbit Lands
Inside the wards, the Rabbit lands are peaceful and flow with the terrain. Rabbits prefer dense settlements surrounded by open spaces.
But it only takes a few steps outside the wards to see just how sheltered life is inside them. Ancient forests with hints of magic and the occasional artifact from a time before The Sickness are there, just waiting to be discovered.
Other Peoples
To the Rabbits, the other races were simply myths, lost in the past. But it turns out that several of the other races survived The Sickness. Rabbits can find them in the wider world... or be found by them.
Wolves
Territorial but disorganized, the various wolf clans will fight amongst each other as much as against outsiders.
Foxes
Clever and entrepreneurial, Foxes can be found almost anywhere an opportunity exists. But as the saying goes: 'Never trust a fox'
Crows
Often solitary or in small groups, Crows collect anything that interests them, but mostly information.
Tortoises
Wandering nomads who usually avoid any contact with others unless strictly necessary. They remember much, but record little.
